Warning about false information
14. 5. 2019
Several foreign websites allowing anyone to publish press releases for a fee published information about the conclusion of an alleged loan agreement between Legion Finance Trade Limited (Legion only) and Triskata International. Triskata International was to receive a loan of up to EUR 897 million from Legion for the construction of a solar power plant near Prague with an installed capacity of 680 MW. The statement also claims that United Energy is to participate in the operation of this solar power plant.
Energetický a průmyslový holding, a.s. (EPH) unequivocally disprove that its subsidiaries Triskata s.r.o. (registered in the Slovak Commercial Register) and United Energy, a.s. conduct any negotiations with Legion. Moreover, a company named Triskata International, according to a Legion‘s press release reportedly registered in the Czech Commercial Register, does not exist according to the on-line version of this register.
EPH has asked Legion to remove the false information and is considering further legal action.
